PLEASE REFER TO WHAT I'VE WRITTEN BELOW THE GREEN BULLETS TO UNDERSTAND WHAT'S GOING ON IN THE PANELS.
What?? I'm the only one in the weekly entries folder? C'mon guys! Don't leave me hangin'! :C lol
(I don't remember when I started drawing all of this, so I just put today's date in the corner.)
I don't really introduce my character in this, so here's his profile if you wanna know more about him: [link]
Instead of doing a bunch of different interactions, I made a multi-panel entry log of Edmond's first meeting with Francoeur. Here's his written accounts of that moment in time. Each number represents a panel:
1) I've secured a part time job at a science museum close to where Francoeur is residing. I noticed his large familiar form out of the corner of my eye one day. Whether he was meeting up with someone or simply visiting out of curiosity, I did not yet know, but he seemed rather bothered by our collection of dried insects pinned up in the display cases...
2) Some young school children were being quite rowdy while their educators' backs were turned, and one of them ran smack dab into Francoeur from behind. The impact caused his disguise to unfurl!
3) Needless to say, I sprang into action.
4) After pulling him away from the crowds, I ushered him into an empty storage room where we could talk in private. Offering to take his hat and gloves, I said, "Think of me as a friend, Francoeur, and I shall do the same."
5) I introduced myself and told him of my involvement with the Flea Protection Committee. He seemed to understand, probably having encountered other members of the FPC at an earlier date. I assured him that if he had any kind of trouble, I would always be available to help, no matter what the situation. BUT, under no circumstances was he to tell his friends about our existence. The risk was too high and the last thing we needed was the special authorities trying to sniff us out.
6) With that, I sent him on his way and bid him adieu for now. I thought about asking him out for coffee sometime, but then again fleas and humans don't exactly have the same diets.
Once he'd left, I went around the museum to make sure there weren't any witnesses to the earlier event and that no rumors had started floating around. Luckily, I'd gotten to him in time before anyone could lay eyes on the flea man's face.
It was an exciting first meeting, indeed~!
